This gift pocket wallet is another quick, simple, easy and cute 3D project. I saw this project on my friend Jaynes blog and thought it was so cute. She had a link to the tutorial and I couldn't believe how easy it was to make. I used the Deck the halls DSP, and added a couple of embellishments. The picture above is the outside tied shut. The next is w/it untied, I think I could of gotten away w/no snowman on there but since I added him - I figured I better show him off a little. I gave you shot of the inside and then a close up of the pockets. The pockets can hold anything small you like. I used candy in mine and left the middle pocket for a gift card, money, etc.

Pillow box bucket
This project I made to demo at my upline meeting last month but I also decided to use it for my cardmaking girls in Decmeber because it was pretty simple, easy and cute. It is a pillow box die cut 3x hooked together, some strips and circles in the bottom to hold it's shape and then decorate however you like. I decided to use the Jolly Old Saint Nick stamp set, to make it more Christmas looking.

Penguin box
This penguin box is also the fancy flavor box die cut, with a top note attached to the front (the top is trimed around the arms). The arms and belly are the oval die cut and the rest are all made from various punches. The tutorial for this was found by a friend of mine on you tube. For her tutorial she used the cricut to cut her ovals and made her own box but I exchanged those two parts out and made it easier for me. It is a very cute box you can fill with any goodies you like.

Snowman box
This is another project I did w/my cardmaking girls for December. It is the fancy flavor box die cut, and punches to make the snowman. I have a luminary candle inside w/glitter filling on top. I don't think my sample turned out how I really wanted it to but it is still cute, instead of drawing a face on...I next time will punch out eyes, nose and mouth to add. I also forgot his arms so added them after I had already taped everything down so they didn't stay very well or look very good to me.

Diaper fold
I have a group of girls that I do cardmaking with and for December instead of doing all cards we made 11 cards and 5 3D projects...so my next few posts will be projects and cards from what we made. I decided to use the diaper fold pocket to have a couple easier projects in there. We had never done any 3D before so I was not sure how complicated we could get or if they would even like what I had planned. We truly enjoyed the day together and had alot of fun. For this project I used the Deck the Halls DSP, cut it to 9x9 and then did the fold, to help secure it in place I punched out a snowflake and attached it with a Rhinestone brad.

Happy New Year - Welcome 2011
Sooooo....last year my goal was to post more for you and I obviously failed at doing that.....I am very sorry. I have not had much of a chance to work on projects this year and have really missed it. This year past year has been an extremely busy one for me and my family, it started off really well and I got a couple of projects posted for you all. For most of the year I have been in and out of various hospitals for two of my grandparents. I then in November had one of my very best friends pass away, and four days later my stepgrandpa passed away so I have spent the past couple months trying to deal with my feelings along w/visiting two of my grandparents in the hospital. Both are doing well now, one is home but one is not and should be soon. I do have about 20 projects ready to go, took all the pictures today and will start getting them posted this week. My goal instead of one project a day is going to be at least one project or more a week. I figure if I start little (one a week, sometimes more) and get myself into the habit of that then I can work my way up to a project each day or two for you. I would also like to start throwing in some challenges here and there for you - I hope that we all have a good and great year for 2011. Happy New Year!!!
