Bella Rose Card

This card was made with some of the new in colors that will be coming out. The basic card is Riding Hood Red. The Pink Pirouette had Bella Rose DSP on it w/silver brads and light pink grosgrain ribbon. I used a retired stamp set Watercolor Garden, as I had no current ones to match the roses. My saying is from the current set Carte Postle. I took a close up of the roses so you could see they are dimensional.

This card was a card sketch challenge from my friend Ann's blog - be sure to check out Ann's site.

Stationary box

Ok, so let me tell you about this project. It took me apx. one to two weeks to accomplish this project and should have only taken a few hours at the most. I tryed starting it at work a few times and could not get my measurements correct so got frustrated and gave up for a few days. When I finally came back to it, I got the whole box itself done in apx. one hour - I used all groovy guava and cream colors with the exception of one old olive spot. I used several punches, and the stamp sets time well spent and one of a kind. This picture on the left is of the project completed and closed.

When you open the completed project you can see that it holds cards, tags, love notes, an address book, stamps and a pen. All of them
coordinate well together.

Here is what it looks like with the whole inside taken out. I have a total of 6 cards (you can fit 8), 4 love notes (you can fit 6) and 8 tags (depends on how you make them) also the pen, address book and stamp holder. What a great project to give away as a gift to someone.

Box in a bag

My friend Ann did a blog candy challenge today and this was it. It is called box in a bag.
They are so quick and simple that you can get these done in apx. a half hours time. I
did them first thing this morning at work and used the Simply Scrappin' Secret Garden
pack on mine - no stamping at all. I had so much fun making these but this might be it
for awhile - I start training someone tomorrow for the next 5 weeks. I am so bummed that
I won't have as much time to work on my stuff but work is first when I am at work.
The one on the left I think is my favorite of the two but I think they are both so darn cute, they are both the same size but the one on the right was taken at farther away so it looks smaller here. I am going to try and make one a little bit bigger but just don't know right now when I will have the time to do so.

Becky's moms birthday card

My friend Becky asked me the other day to make her a card for her moms birthday (which is several months from now), she wanted flowers and sparkles - so today while at work I created Becky's moms birthday card using Time Well Spent stamp set. It is hard to tell in the picture however I used brown, and pretty in pink cardstock along with the rose red DSP. I colored in the flowers with a rose red marker and have dazzling diamonds on the edges of each flower along with in the middle and on each dot of the butterfly. This card turned out way better than I expected it to do but I really like it alot - way stinkin' cute!!!! Challenge yourself with creating something new and cool!!

Emergency Card in a box Kit

This is an emergency card in a box kit. There are 2 boxes and 12 cards w/envelopes when you are done. If you frequently forget a person's birthday, have ever procrastinated buying a birthday card until it was late - then this emergency kit is for you!! All you have to do is open the package, select a card, sign it - seal the envelope and mail it. All I needed to make this kit was one Simply Scrappin' kit, cutter w/scoring blade, scissors, adhesive, bone folder, and sticky strip. The whole project took me around an hour and you can get four boxes/24 cards with one Simply Scrapin' kit. This kit is a great gift for someone who is good at forgetting too.
