Hello Everyone,
I made this card for Ann's challenge this week of neglected embellishments along with the Mojo Monday sketch. The stamp set is a set I received while in Bay City at the Michigan Mingle, the lighthouse is up on dimensionals and is suppose to be giving the effect that it is in front of the sign if you were looking at it from down the beach. My embellishments are the Metal light house and palm tree which I bought a few years ago and they have sat in a drawer. I used Night of Navy as my base, Handsome Hunter, Whisper White and Prestwick DSP for my other papers. My ribbon is navy grograin and my scallop is made w/two scallop punches that were opened and put around the circle to make it big enough. My stamped images were colored in using my few copic markers which I am really loving alot and need to get more now. Thanks for checking out my site and be sure to check out Anns along with Mojo Monday and join in on the fun.

Black, WHite, and Red Mojo (GCA 41 & Mojo Monday 87)
I created this card with two challenges in mind, Ann's challenge of black, white and red along with Mojo Monday Week 87. My base is basic black cardstock, the top white portion is embossed with the textiles swirl look, and the bottom portion is the black textiles paper. My red is riding hood red, the center strip was punched with the new scallop punch, and the scallop circle was made with the big shot. The white circle w/my saying which is from Michael's and the flower from the stamp set Fifth Avenue Floral was made with the circle scissors. My other flower is from the pretties kit, along with the pearls along the bottom. I put a little bit of riding hood red ink around it to pop it out more and my scallop saying is up on dimensionals. I threw on a white taffeta bow to top it off. Be sure to check out the Mojo Monday and Ann's challenges each week and join in on the fun.

Quite a Krafty Rub-on (GCA 40)
I made this card for Ann's challenge this week. It was the color combo of Not Quite Navy, Kraft and either white or neutral. I used the Anchored Rub-ons, Satin ribbon, and Background Basics stamp set, along with the textiles white/polka dot paper. This card actually turned out very cute but I am not sure I care for how the picture turned out. It is casting a shadow under the saying which is up on dimensionals, along with under the ribbon. Be sure to join in on Ann's challenges each week, she always does something different and gives away prizes to her winners.

Beautiful (Mojo Monday 86)
This is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge. I used the Eastern Blooms stamp set, for my flower I did the new re-inker floating watercolor technique. I colored in the small flowers, stems, and birds with stampin' markers. My cardstock is chocolate chip, regal rose, bella rose DSP, and whisper white. The frame was made with the XL Curly label die for the big shot. To make it long I had to punch it twice and I have the frame up on dimensionals. Also on dimesionals are the saying and birds. My ribbon is chocolate chip grograin. I will be posting again in a couple days my card for Ann's challenge so keep an eye out for that and be sure to join in on both challenges.

12 x 12 Purse (GCA39)
I have had this cute little purse made for a couple days now but just have not had the time to get it posted for you all. I made this purse for Ann's challenge this week of following a template. My template was from a purse I had seen on Splitcoast made by T.Sacrison - she created a template after so many people told her house cute the purse was. This cute little purse is made with one sheet of 12x12 paper, two pieces 8 1/2 x 2, and two punched out tabs - decorated anyway you like. On my purse I used the Parisian Breeze DSP, and whisper white paper. I decorated mine with the new satin white ribbon, some jumbo eyelets, and the new courderoy buttons. The hardest part of the purse for me was trying to get the ribbon figured out and there are a couple small flaws on mine that you probably can't see unless pointed out to you but I think it turned out cute for my first one. This purse will hold 16 3x3 cards and envelopes or whatever else you choose to put in it. Be sure to check out both Ann's site and join in the challenges and T.Scrison's template and make your own cute purse.

Tractor Riley (MOJO85)
Here is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday challenge. My cardstock is handsome hunter, and night of navy. My DSP is Prestwick package. I stamped my Tractor Riley and colored him in with copics, and stampin up markers. My grass looking stuff to the left is actually a tree punch I have so punched a bunch of trees and layed them around the edge so you couldn't see the trunk of the tree. It is hard to tell in the picture but they are punched in handsome hunter. Riley is actually up on dimensionals and I added some ribbon for the bow. Be sure to join in on their fun challenges each week over at Mojo Monday.

BBQ Riley
Hello Everyone,
Remember a few posts back I said that I had the opportunity to stamp and color with my friend Kristi from Hanna Stamps during the Michigan Mingle and that I had another card to share but couldn't until the Riley stamp had been released. Well, they just released this cute little guy, so here is the card that I made with BBQ Riley. My cardstock is chocolate chip, creamy caramel, and boardering blue. I used some ribbon and some stuff from the retired hodge podge hardware for added decoration. Be sure to check out the website for all their cute creations with Riley, Sophie, and Hanna.
